Co-founder, "O Independente" (digital relaunch)

Inês Serra Lopes graduated in Law from the Catholic University of Lisbon in 1986. Between 1988 and 2009 she worked in political and investigative journalism, successively for Sábado magazine, the weekly O Independente, TVI, Rádio Comercial and Rádio Clube Português.

She was the Cultural Counselor at the Portuguese Embassy in Brussels during Europália 91. She was the national politics editor at TVI, where she edited and presented the program "Os Prós e os Contras", with Vasco Graça Moura and Paulo Portas, and the interview program "Directa".

She was the last editor of the weekly O Independente and, two years after its closure, she was editor of the newspaper Semanário Económico. She was a regular contributor first to SIC Notícias and then to RTP, having recently presented the program "Saber, Sabe Bem" on RTP2. She is currently a commentator for CNN Portugal and is preparing the relaunch of the newspaper O Independente, which will be entirely digital and on video.
